About Pamela
I taught 6th graders for 26 years and have always been known for my kindness, and understanding and ability to connect. I like people so therefore I like working with people and I’m passionate about helping people feel better about their work. Writing is personal and takes time - reading is a gift to knowledge or fun. It’s important for me to first build a relationship with you so that I can understand you as a thinker, learner and student. Then, we work on current assignments or free choice reading and writing to help develop strong literacy skills. Thoughtful questioning, planning and dialogue and use of visualization techniques to help you develop your voice, interpret readings and communicate your position, ideas or story.
