About JEFERY

I am a retired Head of Chemistry with thirty years experience teaching chemistry. I have examined for most of the UK examination boards and am currently a senior examiner for the IBO. I have tutored numerous students face-to face for many years and gained consistently excellent results. Before entering the teaching profession I was a works chemist in the food industry.

I adopt a friendly and encouraging approach to teaching my subject. I have a great enthusiasm for chemistry and hope that I effuse into my students the same feeling. At the moment, for online tutorials, I as the student what he/she would like cover in the next lesson, send some tailored lesson notes and discuss them during the lesson.
