Throughout my 35 years of college level teaching experience I have also worked in environmental consulting and regulatory agency positions, as well as the biomedical industry. With this added experience, I have helped students see the real world applications of their learning goals.

The learners of modern science need teachers who can instill a desire for better explanations regarding scientific principles, including those that affect modern decision making. Throughout my career I have worked to continually update course curricula and increase capacities to instruct in diverse and pertinent modes. With my diverse background I am able bring practical experience, including the role of ethical considerations, to the teaching and learning process.
