About Ayotomiwa

My name is Ayotomiwa and I’m a passionate and approachable English tutor with over six years of experience helping students grow in confidence and achieve real academic progress. I hold a B.Sc. in Chemistry and have authored 15 published articles.

I believe learning works best in a supportive and engaging environment, so I make my lessons interactive, clear, and tailored to each student’s needs. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simple steps and helping students build strong skills in grammar, writing, and comprehension. I also incorporate modern learning tools into my lessons and teach students how to use them effectively on their own.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy writing, reading, and creative projects, which naturally influence my teaching style and help me make lessons more relatable and interesting.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is structured, student-focused, and results-driven. I begin by assessing each student’s level, strengths, and areas for improvement, then I create a personalized plan with clear goals. I use direct instruction, guided practice, and interactive activities to build strong skills in grammar, writing, comprehension, and exams, while encouraging critical thinking as well.

I break down complex concepts into simple steps, use real-life examples, and reinforce learning through practice and feedback. I am also efficient with digital learning tools and integrate them into lessons, teaching students how to use these tools independently to enhance their learning. My students' progress is tracked through regular assessments and adjustments.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes (flexible as needed), covering revision, new concepts, practice, and evaluation.

I hold a B.Sc. in Chemistry and have over six years of experience teaching English. I have authored 15 published articles and contributed to educational journals.

My lessons are for students from primary level to Grade 12, including those seeking academic support, exam preparation, or overall improvement in their English skills, and I also have extensive experience teaching both one-on-one and group classes.
