About Janicce
I am currently a third year Respiratory Therapy student at The Michener Institute (UHN), and I am starting my clinical rotations at a hospital soon! I graduated from McMaster University with distinction (3.8 GPA) in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science (Hon.) degree. I have teaching experience with children and adults in volunteer positions.
In my free time, I like to bake, read, workout and go on hikes. I love exploring food from different cultures. I have a little cat I adopted from a shelter - her name is Pepper!

My teaching philosophy includes personalized lesson plans targeting student strengths and focusing on improving areas of weakness. I teach a lesson, and then do practice questions to ensure students understand my lessons, then identify areas of weakness and help students improve accordingly. I encourage questions, facilitate discussion and find ways to help students apply their knowledge. I appreciate feedback on pace and teaching styles in order to facilitate student understanding, motivation and comfort for every student.
