I am passionate about education and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed, whatever that may look like for them! My experience in Special Education provides many skills to support your child - adapting to their needs, providing alternative ways to demonstrate their knowledge, effective communication skills, and most importantly - building a healthy relationship between educator and child.

- Science of Reading approach (Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Vocabulary, Comprehension, Fluency), aligned with the Ministry of Education's new literacy guidelines, to provide literacy skills appropriately through a research-based approach
- Lessons can be adapted for any age, reading level, etc. through various initial placement assessments
- I have lots of patience and compassion for students who may lack confidence in their reading/writing skills, and aim to not only improve their academic scores but their confidence in their overall abilities!
-Experience working 1:1 with students who have various needs (i.e. learning disability, intellectual disability, dyslexia, dysgraphia, physical limitations, etc.).
