About Kathleen
"Singing feels best when you are totally relaxed. It is pure joy.
My lessons are built on the 7 years I spent playing the Montreal folk scene and the technical knowledge from my BA Musique populaire. We start with warm-up exercises to protect your voice before moving into specific genre styling for pop or musical theater. I keep things conversational so we can focus on sight singing and diction without unnecessary tension.
My goal is to make performance-focused students feel capable and ready for the stage. It is rewarding to hear your voice develop."
