About Louise

I'm Louise, a certified NLP practitioner, hypnotherapist, and EFT practitioner with over 10 years of coaching experience. But I didn't come to this work from a textbook. I came to it because I needed it myself.

For years I struggled with racing thoughts I couldn't switch off, a fear of death, intense perfectionism, and a constant feeling that I wasn't good enough no matter what I achieved. I was a people pleaser who needed everyone around me to be happy. I took on other people's pain as if it were my own. I worried about control, feared uncertainty, and beat myself up over every failure. I had so many thoughts rushing through my mind at once that I didn't know how to separate them. I believed every negative thought I had was the absolute truth.

I tried counselling. I tried therapy. CBT helped a little with the basics but it never went deeper. It used exposure techniques without ever addressing my nervous system or what was actually wired into my subconscious.

Everything changed when I found a spiritual life coach who used NLP and guided hypnosis. In one session, something shifted that nothing else had ever touched. My entire inner reality changed. I was able to see everything, including myself, from a completely new observational state. It was like waking up. I realised that the beliefs that had been running my life were illusions, and for the first time I felt free to actually be the person I'd always been underneath.

That experience changed the direction of my life. I trained in NLP, hypnotherapy, and EFT at the Herold Communication Academy and now hold certifications in NLP, clinical hypnotherapy, EFT, life coaching, and leadership coaching. Originally from Sweden, I spent over 10 years as a personal trainer and sports therapist, but it was my own transformation that showed me where the real work happens. Based in Marbella, I now work with clients worldwide helping them experience the same shift I did.

If you've been told to "just breathe" or "try to relax" one more time, you already know that managing symptoms isn't the same as fixing the problem.

Your anxiety isn't a flaw. It's a learnt pattern. Your brain picked it up from past experiences and now runs it automatically, even when the original threat is long gone. It fires before you can think, before you can reason with it, because it lives in your nervous system, not your logical mind. That's why understanding your anxiety doesn't stop it. And that's why your emotions sometimes feel overwhelming, unpredictable, or completely out of proportion to what's actually happening.

You're not "too emotional" or "too sensitive." Your brain learnt to react this way based on past experiences. And what it learnt, it can unlearn.
NLP works differently from most approaches. Instead of teaching you to cope, we find out why your brain is creating the anxiety in the first place and change that process directly.

Here's something important that most people never get taught. Emotions live in the body, not the mind. That's why you can't think your way out of an emotional reaction. You can't logic away a panic attack or reason with a trigger. The emotion is held physically, in your chest, your stomach, your throat. And it needs to be released physically too. In our sessions, we don't just talk. We work with breath, awareness, and sensation so emotions can release instead of being suppressed or analysed.

One of my clients, Kat, had been suffering with regular panic attacks and severe anxiety. Using a combination of Timeline Therapy and EFT (tapping), we traced the anxiety back to its origin, released the stored emotional charge, and rewired her response. Her panic attacks stopped completely. In her words: "My mental well-being has improved a lot and my mindset is so much more positive."

Here's why NLP is so effective for anxiety and emotional overwhelm. Dissociation techniques help you step outside overwhelming memories so they lose their emotional grip. Submodality shifts change how your brain codes stressful thoughts, literally making them smaller, quieter, and further away in your mind. Anchoring gives you instant access to a calm, grounded state whenever you need it. And EFT works with your body's meridian system to release stored emotional tension physically. Every memory in your mind has internal "settings": brightness, size, distance, volume. Painful memories are usually stored as big, bright, close, and loud. That's why they hit so hard when they get triggered. We change those settings until the memory loses its emotional charge.

This isn't about learning to live with anxiety. It's about resolving it.
