About Elizabeth
I have worked as a research specialist at The University of Chicago for 15 years. My lab studies the role of the extracellular matrix in wound healing, and we use a jellyfish as our model organism. I also work as a program coordinator for undergraduate programming at The Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA. In this role, I help design biology courses and projects centered around marine biology. My undergraduate and masters degrees were in biology, with focuses on molecular biology and biochemistry.
