About Caroline
My blog name is THE RED DUTCHESS, and I also have my own mental health organisation called ‘Replenish’ through which I deliver 6 Week Workshops around Northern and Southern Ireland. My approach is non-clinical, relaxed and enjoyable as I incorporate a lot of drama-based (my first degree is in Drama) work into the sessions, so they are not tedious or heavy. They’re interactive and cater to a lot, of not all learning styles.
You’ll also find I’m a YouTuber and last year for World Mental Health Day (October 10th) I did a small documentary called ‘Taking off the Mask’ in which I explored how Derry perceives Mental Health. We staged public panic attacks, interviews and a lot more thought provoking content.
I think you may enjoy it. It received over 30K views on Facebook and a lot of local press attention.

I’m a mental health professional and I’m also a Mental Health blogger/ social media enthusiast. I also use the social media platforms to communicate to my followers on MY OWN mental health issues. That’s why my following on my social channels have been growing exponentially. I have the advantage of reaching out to young people in a way that many can’t.
I’m first and foremost their equal, a fellow mental health sufferer. Then I’m the professional who can offer the help.
I'm the most non-clinical therapist you'll ever meet. I deliver educational programmes on understanding why we have certain mental health issues and how we can deal with them. I can work with you in person or via Skype to embark on a 6 week procession where you and I can discuss, with the utmost confidentiality, what you'd like to achieve in terms of understanding and managing your mental health and how you can enrich yourself in doing so.
