About Eric
With 20+ years of experience as a Saxophone tutor, I have worked with approximately 150 students across different skill levels. I teach students of all ages and focus on creating a supportive learning environment that encourages progress and creativity.
My tutoring style is structured, patient, and adaptable. I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning ability and musical interests while maintaining a clear learning plan. I believe positive guidance and regular practice are essential for success.
I focus strongly on saxophone fundamentals, including breath support, embouchure control, tone quality, finger technique, and timing. As students grow, I help them develop musical interpretation, phrasing, and improvisation skills.
Along with saxophone instruction, I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and rhythm studies. My aim is to help students grow musically while enjoying every step of the learning process.

My saxophone teaching approach focuses on consistent improvement and musical expression. I design lessons that strengthen breathing control, embouchure stability, rhythm accuracy, and dynamic control.
Motivation is built through positive reinforcement and clear goal-setting. I communicate clearly and give detailed practice instructions so students know exactly how to improve at home. Integrity is maintained through structured lesson planning and regular progress reviews.
Creativity is included by encouraging students to improvise, compose short melodies, and explore different musical styles. In addition to saxophone, I teach music theory, sight reading, and rhythm skills to ensure complete musical development.
