About Cleo
I am an enthusiastic Piano instructor with 12 years of teaching experience. Throughout my teaching career, I have helped school students, college students, and working professionals develop confidence, creativity, and technical skills through music.
My teaching philosophy focuses on making learning enjoyable while maintaining a structured and goal-oriented approach. I believe that students learn best when lessons are engaging and connected to their interests.
My lessons include piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. I encourage students to explore different musical styles while developing strong foundational skills.
In addition to Piano instruction, I teach keyboard skills and music theory. These areas help students gain a complete understanding of music and improve their overall musicianship.
My aim is to inspire students to enjoy music and continue learning throughout their lives. I take pride in helping learners achieve their goals while building confidence and self-expression.

My teaching approach focuses on communication, creativity, flexibility, and consistent encouragement. I believe students learn best when they enjoy every lesson and clearly understand each musical concept. My lessons are personalised to match every student's experience and future goals.
Students first build a strong musical foundation through posture, hand position, finger coordination, rhythm practice, note reading, and music theory. As they improve, they continue with scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, pedal techniques, expressive performance, sight reading, and musical interpretation.
I use demonstrations, guided practice, and listening exercises to make learning interesting and effective. Students receive regular feedback and customised practice plans that encourage steady improvement.
Students are introduced to various musical styles and encouraged to develop creativity through improvisation, accompaniment, and expressive playing. These activities improve confidence and help students become versatile musicians.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard fundamentals, ear training, rhythm development, music theory, sight reading, performance preparation, and music appreciation. These subjects strengthen overall musicianship.
My aim is to help students enjoy learning, perform confidently, and continue growing as skilled musicians throughout their lives.
