About Pomi
As an experienced Spanish tutor with 17+ years of teaching experience, I enjoy helping High School and College students become confident language learners. My teaching is based on personalised learning because I know every student has different learning habits and educational goals. By creating customised lesson plans, I help students build confidence while making steady academic progress.
My classes include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, speaking, and conversational practice. I teach using simple explanations, practical examples, interactive exercises, and meaningful conversations that encourage students to use Spanish naturally. Every lesson is designed to improve both classroom performance and everyday communication skills.
One of my strongest qualities is my patience and ability to motivate students throughout their learning journey. I create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable practising, asking questions, and learning from mistakes. Regular feedback and personalised learning strategies help students continue improving with confidence.
I also integrate cultural learning into my lessons by introducing traditions, customs, festivals, and everyday life from Spanish-speaking communities. This helps students develop a deeper understanding of the language while improving communication.
