About Iris
I have spent 10 years teaching flute to students from school to college, helping them develop both musical skills and self-confidence. I believe music should be enjoyable, meaningful, and accessible to everyone.
My classes are designed to make learning simple by breaking every concept into easy steps. Students learn breathing techniques, posture, finger movement, scales, rhythm, tone production, and expressive playing.
Throughout my teaching career, I have proudly watched students grow into confident musicians and perform successfully at various events.
Alongside flute, I teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, rhythm exercises, and performance skills.
My aim is to create a friendly learning environment where every student feels motivated to achieve their best.

Learning the flute should be enjoyable, inspiring, and rewarding. My teaching style is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I focus on helping students develop technical skills while building confidence and a love for music.
Every lesson is customized according to the student's learning needs. Beginners learn posture, breathing, finger placement, rhythm, and note reading. Intermediate and advanced students work on tone improvement, scales, articulation, expression, advanced techniques, and stage performance.
I motivate students with encouragement and positive reinforcement. Communication is always simple and interactive, helping students understand every topic clearly. Integrity allows me to build a respectful and supportive classroom where every learner feels valued.
Creative activities include classical music, movie melodies, duet playing, improvisation, rhythm games, listening practice, and performance preparation. Along with flute, I teach music theory, recorder, beginner keyboard, ear training, sight reading, and rhythm exercises.
