About Reina
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching for over 18 years for a wide range of ages; both children and adults and have excellent feedback from my students and a record of getting them through their Grade Exams with the majority of my students reaching the highest they can achieve and some of them being awarded a music scholarship.
I'm always keen to teach my students to be a fully rounded musician - it shouldn't be about learning notes on page and how to move fingers. Each student has different strength and weakness. I like to grow their own talent and help them to be able to express themselves through musical playing.
I built close relationships with my students and have been teaching some of them over 5 years since I moved to London. I offer lessons tailored to suit each individual student's needs and don't compromise the quality of lessons. It's awarding to see them enjoying and improving.
I teach in English or Japanese and have been performing as a solo pianist and a chamber musician internationally.
