About Daniella
I am a Registered Nurse with 15 years experience, ranging from the hospital setting to residential aged care. I have both undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in nursing, as well as dementia care, health leadership and management and flexible learning and simulation in the health context.
I have worked in the nursing education sector, teaching and facilitating students in the health care environment to ensure they are work ready when they graduate and have provided post graduate education to ensure students leave with an expanded knowledge base in their area of specialty.
I work to engage and challenge students to go outside their comfort zone in the safety of the learning environment. Students will become more confident in their learning and nursing knowledge base, producing better nursing practitioners.

I teach through a blended learning approach - I challenge students to widen their scope of knowledge and put theory into practice. I have qualifications in training and assessment as well as flexible learning and simulation, allowing me to immerse the student in a theoretical nursing scenario to implement their knowledge base.
Students should attend sessions with questions about their topic of study and be ready to engage and answer questions within a simulated patient context. This allows knowledge to be applied in the real world, placing context to the learning.
Students at any level of their nursing qualification are welcome to engage me in their learning journey.
