About Courtenay
I am an approachable, engaging nurse who enjoys passing on knowledge from my own practice to graduate or student nurses. I have been working in a hospital-based setting for nearly 4 years and worked throughout the lockdowns of the pandemic. I am of the opinion to look after our young as many new and graduate nurses can feel overwhelmed, intimidated and scared in their first years of practice. I want to be able to help alleviate that

I can give comprehensive and no-nonsense lessons and advice for those working towards gaining their bachelor's degree in nursing in New Zealand. The lesson can be from 30 minutes to 60 minutes where you will identify an area that you are struggling with and we will review it together to help your understanding. I give a real honest and accurate detail about work in the current environment and how to get your head around clinical placements. I can help organise your application for jobs and work through your NetP ( if applicable) year as I have completed education to be a clinical preceptor
