About Kate
I love to teach! Whether it’s been instructing young dancers or tutoring a variety of subjects, I’ve been fortunate to learn how to cater to any learning level and style. As someone who likes to break things down and use logic to help understand learning, I also think it’s important to create a safe, comfortable, and fun environment in order to grow academically. I am a determined, goal motivated person myself, and nothing makes me happier than helping others achieve their goals!

Registered Nurse Manager with 3 collegiate degrees, also was a professional ballerina for 20 years! As an Intensive Care Nurse with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing, a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology, and an Associates in Arts, I have a vast wealth of knowledge in many subjects such as math (all levels through calculus II), science, and language arts. I took many honors and AP courses in high school, scored highly on the ACT, and graduated with honors for each of my college degrees. I have teaching experience as well, as after retiring from my career in ballet I began to teach dance to children and adults. I greatly enjoy tutoring any age, and have a very flexible schedule to meet your needs! As a highly positive and motivated person, I guarantee educational growth and fun while learning as well!
