About Penelope
Teaching exists because the preservation of the Central European tradition demands a disciplined hand. I hold a BMus in Violin from Rice University Shepherd School of Music. 12 years of instructing has reinforced my dedication to patient, unhurried development.
Foundational work requires focus on ear training, bowing technique, and tuning by ear. I guide pupils through vibrato, double stops, scales, and arpeggios with the strictness of the Auer and Galamian lineage. Clarity remains the priority.
