About Vikki
"Ear training precedes reading notation because music is a language heard before it is transcribed. My teaching philosophy originates from 13 years spent refining tone production, posture, and intonation through the Suzuki method. This discipline helps me guide students through complex shifting, vibrato, and scale work.
Parents play a critical role in the home environment as we refine these foundational skills together. My Eastman School of Music training informs how I approach these technical challenges, keeping expectations high as we focus on the subtle details of string contact and hand placement."
