About Jeff
Hello, my name is Jeff. Mathematics has been a big part of my life from elementary school where I was practicing 5th grade math in 2nd grade, to high school where I participated in (and won!) some math contests, to my career in Accounting and Information Systems, to my current career as Carpenter, and into my next steps of Architecture and Engineering. What I love about math is that it can explain so many things about our natural surroundings, theoretical concepts of time and space, as well as become a tool for a person to make a good (sometimes very good) living! Math can certainly be a daunting and unfriendly subject, but through understanding and practice by using me as your tutor you may be able to come to love it as I do!

Once I have identified where you are getting confused, I create a personalized and focused plan to help your understanding of the concepts. Through practical experience and examples, a dive into theory and why the concept can be useful, as well as practice with your new-found understanding, you can expect tangible results from my tutelage. My lessons are for elementary, middle, and high school students ranging from those who are flat-out confused about a concept to students who are looking to excel and gain more insight to concepts they are sort-of getting.
