About Lisa
My educational background includes a BA, an MA, and a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin where I studied French and philosophy. I co-edited a philosophy volume published by Oxford University Press and translated a book published by Columbia University Press. I have published numerous peer-reviwed articles, edited two interdisciplinary scholarly journals, and translated numerous philosophy and theology texts from French into English.
As a PhD student, I taught French to undergraduates for six years. I also taught at Southwestern University, Austin Community College, Université Paul Valéry (Montpellier, France), and most recently, the University of Nottingham (U.K.). I loved my office hours!
