About Robert
I was a French/Spanish teacher for 10 years before spending my last 29 years as a building admin. I lived in southern France near the Spanish border for 2 years and became familiar with both cultures and languages. When teaching years ago, I had many students pass the AP language test for college credit.

My foreign language teaching approach is balanced between the 4 areas from least to most difficult: reading, then writing, then listening and finally speaking. Learning a foreign language should be both fun and meaningful to prepare you for future success. Knowing how to carefully construct a well-designed progression of learning activities will increase student confidence and success. I also believe in a high degree of teacher feedback to students so they feel supported.
