About Laura
Recently completed my PGCE in Secondary History, experience teaching in two local secondary schools. Familiar with AQA and Edexcel exam boards. Currently tutoring online via Skype. Up to date with pedagogical research and debates within the History teaching communities. Friendly, bubbly and extremely hard working.
Previous roles have included being a Customer Training Specialist whereby I was responsible for training customers via an online platform.

I ensure my lessons are engaging and varied. I practice retrieval throughout my lessons so I can see how well my students are remembering content. I allow them the time to complete exam questions for homework (GCSE) or set them interesting tasks if KS3 or adult learners to do in between sessions.
