About Juliette
I am French but I have a BA in Classics from King's College London, and an MPhil in Classical Archaeology from Oxford. I am now doing my PhD at Trinity College Dublin still in Archaeology, incorporating elements of Greek and Latin literature in my research. I do enjoy tutoring and I am aware that learning a new language or practising one that you know and studying its literature always comes with challenges. But as I was lucky to have great tutors and professors helping me, I hope to do the same for others.

I believe in more interactive approaches, especially with Classics, where students can actively engage not only with the original texts, but also the grammar. I always encourage questions or concerns at any time of the session and like to draw on my students' experience and interests to tailor an individual curriculum. One of the advantages of learning Classics, whether Greek or Latin (or both!) is the diversity of texts and their subject, as well as their sometimes very entertaining nature. I have also been tutoring for several years now, in Classics, French and English and typically offer 1h sessions with a flexible schedule. When needed, I also help my students with their university applications, reviewing their CV and personal statement, and preparing interviews (some of them now study at Cambridge). I also teach Classics at all levels.
