About Gissel
I am currently a teacher in Mesquite ISD. I have a bachelor’s in Bilingual education, and I’ve been working in school since I was 18. I started off as a teacher assistant for two years , then I became a substitute teacher in Mesquite ISD and Denton ISD. I was also an afterschool tutor for a year last year and I quickly loved it !

My lessons are interactive , flexible for different learning styles , their are also fun and focus on the topic needed. Math can be taught through videos, manipulative, interactive worksheets, notes and flashcards. Whatever learning style is the easiest for you, I’ll choose for you !
