About Jasmine
I'm a recent high school graduate with a 3.89 GPA and was in the top ten percent of my class. At the same time as I graduated high school, I completed my associate's degree summa cum laude from Lone Star College. I love English, books, and writing so I spend most of my free time either reading or writing. I decided to start tutoring because I wanted to share my love of English with others and help them understand the greater significance of books like To Kill a Mocking Bird and The Odessy.

I don't like to give the correct answers. Instead, I'll teach you how to think in a way that will allow you to find the correct answer on your own. My personal approach has always been to do my best to help my students understand English in more modern terms.
Additionally, I like to highlight why what my students are learning was important when it was written and why it's still important today. I enjoy showing people the lesser explored sides of English like Mark Twain's notorious sense of humor or what truly made Shakespeare the legend he is today. I feel that the context of Literature will help my students to better understand not only what they're learning but why they're learning it.
