About Sam
Hi I'm a recently graduated Sociology student having just achieved a First from a Russel Group Uni. At A Level I found Sociology to be mind opening. We go through the education system for 16 years without ever having a lesson that asks "wait on a sec why are we learning this, in whose purpose does it serve, is the education I'm getting worthwhile", as you know Sociology does this and more. It studies power, conflict, relationships and the quest for a better future. There is no other subject as valuable in today's age. I achieved an A* at A Level, being fresh out of Uni we can work together to achieve your desired grade.

My teaching experience isn't huge but I assure you my lessons will be planned to a high standard, whilst hopefully still being fun and engaging. We will go through the A-Level text book in detail, making sure the syllabus content has been covered and all confusion cleared. Knowing the core theory we will plan out practice essays, looking at how you can construct effective debates between the Sociology you know. After this hard work I think its important to have a more informal talk about the topic of study, including the use of general articles, films and videos. Though this isn't essential for the exam it may help you remember the lesson more.
