About Jacob
I have recently completed my Baccalaureate (Maths and Science option) and will be applying to study Biomedical engineering at university from Sept 2019. In the meantime I am looking for some work. I have experience with working with children (childcare, babysitting and tutoring in French and Maths).
My family moved to France when I was 5, so I am bilingual in both English and French with a good level of conversational Spanish (10 years of Spanish at school).

In the past. I have found that children progress more if we base the lessons on a lot of conversational French, so for example I would give them a topic to think about for a couple of minutes, then chat with them about that topic encouraging participation and boosting their confidence in speaking the language (adapting my language to their level). Having studied In France, I am also fully adept at grammar, written expression, written comprehension. etc. and I have various exercices that would help in this area that are interesting and fun. I can give lessons to children at both GCSE and A'Level.
