About Sea Jay
I only recently completed WACE myself, so I know what it feels like to be preparing for assessments, trying to figure out what exam questions actually want, and sometimes wishing someone had explained things differently. Having been in your position not long ago, I hope to share not only what worked for me, but also the mistakes I made, the things I wish I had known earlier, and the strategies I picked up along the way. I’m now studying Commerce at the University of Melbourne, and I’d love to use my recent experience to make your WACE journey a little easier and help you approach your subjects with more confidence.
I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese, English, Cantonese, and conversational Malay, allowing me to communicate effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.

My lessons are tailored to what each student wants to improve, whether that is strengthening core concepts, working through difficult topics or preparing for exams. I like to start with the bigger picture before breaking topics down step by step, using clear notes, worked examples and templates where helpful. I also use past WACE exam questions to practise question interpretation, identify key words and develop effective answering techniques. Before exams, I can focus sessions on common mistakes and challenging question types so students feel prepared for what they may encounter.
