I work with the student to understand root weaknesses and address them by building on foundational tools before working on higher level problem solving
In general a typical lesson will look like:
1) understanding the current issues and assessing if there are others
2) working through a selection of problems or the student’s homework
3) learning upcoming material so the student will be better prepared and able to learn when seeing the material in class
4) planning for the next lesson
