About Evie

I’m a friendly, creative and enthusiastic English tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence in their writing and communication. Having achieved strong NCEA results myself, I understand the challenges of English and aim to make learning engaging, approachable and rewarding.

About the lesson

I have previous experience in private English tutoring, with typical lengths of a lesson running 30-60 minutes depending on the needs of the student. I am comfortable tutoring students of all ages, including ESOL (English Second Language) students, from pre-NCEA up to Level 3. I am flexible in teaching style to whatever suits the student best, but a follow by example teaching style typically works well.
