As a physician assistant graduate, I bring a strong academic and healthcare background to every tutoring session. As a physician assistant graduate, I take a personalized, student-centered approach to tutoring. I believe the best way to learn anatomy and biology is to understand how and why things work, rather than simply memorize information. I use clear explanations, visual learning, real-world medical examples, repetition, and practice questions to help students build lasting understanding and confidence.
A typical lesson begins by identifying the student’s goals and reviewing any areas of difficulty. We then break complex topics into smaller, manageable concepts before working through examples together. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and use active recall and practice questions to reinforce what we learned. We finish by reviewing the most important takeaways and identifying areas to focus on before the next lesson.
What sets me apart is my clinical background as a physician assistant graduate. I can connect foundational anatomy and biology concepts to real medical conditions and situations, helping students understand why the material matters beyond the classroom. I also adapt my teaching style to each student rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
I am happy to work with students of all ages and educational levels, including middle school, high school, undergraduate, pre-health, and students taking introductory anatomy, physiology, or related health-science courses. I can also help students preparing for healthcare programs or looking to strengthen their foundation before entering a medical field.
