About Kian
Hello! My name is Kian, and I am a recent Ontario high school graduate who will be attending the University of Toronto. I offer online math and physics tutoring for students in Grades 4–10, and I enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts and build confidence in their abilities.
Having recently completed high school in Ontario, I am familiar with the current curriculum and the difficulties students often face in math and science. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and focused on clear, step-by-step explanations that make learning more approachable and less stressful.
I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, work through problems, and steadily improve at their own pace.

My lessons are designed to help students understand concepts clearly and build confidence in math and physics at their own pace. I focus on creating a supportive and comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and work through problems without feeling judged or rushed.
My teaching approach is based on step-by-step explanations, guided practice, and adapting lessons to each student’s individual learning style. Rather than memorizing formulas without understanding them, I help students break down problems logically so they can develop stronger problem-solving skills and apply concepts independently.
A typical lesson usually begins with reviewing homework, recent class material, or any concepts the student is struggling with. I then explain the topic using examples and practice questions before helping the student solve problems on their own while providing support and feedback throughout the lesson.
