About Garreth
I'm a native South African who is fluent in English. I majored in English language studies at university and I received distinctions for my work. I have a certification in TEFL as well. My experience is limited but I am adaptable and eager to help my students. At the end of a lesson with me I hope my students leave knowing more about how to use English than when the lesson started.

I'm proficient in English and can speak moderately well in Afrikaans.
My lessons are focused more on interaction and discussions.
I do like to follow a lesson plan, but I would allow degrees of flexibility to accommodate my student's needs.
I aim to teach at lower levels with a focus on reading and pronunciation. My goal is to help my students communicate in normal everyday contexts.
