About Ashleigh
I am a sculptor, curator, and writer inspired by indigenous concepts of place. I work primarily in hard materials, and have skills in casting, welding, and woodworking. Currently, I am exploring the use of found materials and natural resources from the land.

Being of Māori and Samoan descent, my teaching will always incorporate collaborative practice, as well as an appreciation of the land. Classes will incorporate theory as well as practice so that students can understand the “why” of material use and technique.
