About Emily
Hello! I have always had a passion for education and knowledge-- I love to share that with everyone! I have always learned better through teaching and love the conversations and debates that spark in academic settings. I will always push students to question theories and critically analyze what the deeper messages are to their learning topics. Tutoring is fun for me and I hope it can be for you too!

I am flexible with teaching styles and like to work either each individual student with what works best for them.
Our sessions will start with identifying your strengths, weaknesses and make some goals of working together. Once we are both on the same page for how our sessions will go, we will jump right in!!
I have been a peer tutor for the past 5 years both within university services and through freelance. My neuroscience degree focused on different learning abilities which has helped me develop study tools for students with all needs. I have extra experience with dyslexic students!
My tutoring sessions are typically 1 hour long sessions at a time, with a frequency desired by the student.
My goal is to make sure students feel the most confident tackling their school work!
