About Zachary
Growing up with two English teacher parents, I have always loved and appreciated the value of learning, and helping others. Through my university experiences, I have had the opportunity to travel and live throughout, Europe, East Asia, and Central America. One of the most important things I have gained from these experiences is the importance of communication and learning, and how necessary it is to facilitate these kinds of conversations and experiences with more people in order to create a better society. This is why I am passionate about working with children; because of how inspired I was by the many discussions and lessons my professors have shared with me I want to continue that and share with others.

Growing up with two English teacher parents, I have always loved and appreciated the value of learning, and helping others. Whether your child is 6 or 16 I am confident that my patience, and easy-going attitude, plus my ten years of experience with children, will make me a valuable asset to helping your child achieve their academic goals.
I have experience in working in a variety of settings, from the ski slope to the university classroom. Most recently I worked as a teacher for kids aged 5-9 at a YMCA in the United States, and as a program director for teenagers at a sleep-away summer camp. Additionally, I have worked as a ski and rock-climbing instructor for children with different developmental disabilities. I am very accommodating to different learning styles and fully believe that anyone can be a successful student if the information is presented in the right way.
