About Ali
Hi! I just finished taking my A levels where I took maths, physics and computer science and now I am looking to help students improve their own academic abilities - allowing you to achieve your true potential. Rest assured as I have tutored before at my school for key stage 3 students who were identified as underperforming - they all now excel in maths and are all predicted minimum 7 at GCSE. I understand it may be hard to get around concepts and I will use what I found the best ways to learn every topic in maths including providing you with many different exercises for you to do as well to help give you as much practice of different questions allowing you to be prepared for any question that may come up in your exams!!

I will first make students do a mini test to allow me to engage how they are currently performing and identifying where and why they are dropping marks - allowing me to make a personalised teaching schedule for them. I will also assign them small tasks for them to do in between sessions to help them get more exposure to the type of questions they may get. This is help benefit their understanding of key concepts but also save time in lesson. Each session lasts for an hour (can do more if required) and can be once a week or multiple times a week if needed. Rest assured as I have passed the 11+ and went to a grammar school where I achieved an 8 in Maths and just finished doing my A levels where I am predicted to get an A in maths. I can cover 11+, key stage 3 and GCSE content for anyone between the ages of 10 - 16.
