About Sam

Hi! I’m a recent Charterhouse school leaver with straight As across A-Level Mathematics, Biology, and Physical Education, holding a deferred offer to work and study at PwC and Queen Mary's University London.

Having navigated the exact 2026 exam cycle myself, I offer students up-to-date knowledge of the current AQA, Edexcel, and CIE specification requirements.

My goal is to help students build academic confidence, fix persistent knowledge gaps, and develop structured revision systems that deliver top grades without unnecessary stress.

Whether preparing for upcoming GCSEs, starting the A-Level syllabus, or aiming to raise a predicted grade, I tailor every session to the individual learner’s pace and target exam board.

About the lesson

Structured, goal-oriented lessons tailored to current exam board specifications. Every session is personalised around the student's exact exam board (AQA, Edexcel, OCR or CIE) and specific target areas. Rather than relying on passive reading, lessons emphasise active recall, past-paper practice, and mark-scheme analysis so students learn exactly how examiners award points. Each session concludes with a short summary recap and targeted practice questions to solidify understanding and build genuine exam-day confidence.

Sam has been my tutor from the start of the summer up until now and has massively helped me go from a struggling maths student consistently getting 40-50%, to now pushing onto an A and hopefully an A* when it comes to the second-year maths.
