I am a recent college graduate from Carson-Newman University with a BS in biology and an emphasis in pre-med. I am an on-going student working in the medical field at a hospital, so I am always eager to learn and teach others how they can best learn and understand.

My teaching methodology tends to be more real world examples to help solidify conceptual information. Long-term memory storage takes relation to something familiar in the brain and then 3 pathways of acquiring the information, so I like to encourage a lesson to include diverse resources via pictures, videos, audio, writings, reading etc. Lessons can apply to anyone from 7th grades biological sciences to a biology undergraduate student.
