I started my tutoring career at Schoolcraft College in our learning center as a volunteer French tutor for about two semesters (6 months). I could not get hired at the time because I was still learning English. After those two semesters, given that my speaking skill was to the level I could comfortably communicate with the student, I was hired as a tutor, mainly doing all level maths, physics, and French (my first language). I could very soon cover different topics such as some electronic courses and even programming language courses such as python (fundamental level). After a total of 4 semesters, I was promoted to the lead tutor position, which extended my knowledge beyond regular tutoring as I was now preparing training material for incoming tutors as well as serving as the liaison between the tutor and the administration.
