About Zerimar
For the last two years, I have worked as a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Research Fellow. During this time, I conducted original research about the origins of anti-Haitian rhetoric found during the mid-19th century Dominican separatist movement. Going on to present my findings at various regional conferences, I have extensive experience with research writing, academic writing, thesis writing, and editing.

A typical lesson: - starts with a solo exercise or activity to either a) set up a direction for the lesson or b) start developing the soft skills of a future goal - continues with a longer writing exercise done together & focusing on developing our most pressing skill/goal - if time allows, one final activity where I present a couple of activity options and you choose the closing exercise :)
