About Brett
My name is Brett Jones, and I am a recent graduate from Saint Louis University. I have a Bachelors (BA) in Spanish, as well as Political Science and International Studies. While not a native speaker, I have experience with the language inside and outside the classroom setting. I lived abroad in a Spanish speaking country for 9 months and have taken classes at a Chilean university (Universidad Alberto Hurtado). I've applied my language skills in the social, volunteer and professional setting during and since I've received my degree.

I'm willing to give lessons to high school level Spanish students and below. I am also willing to give lessons to undergraduate college students with effectiveness depending on the level of coursework. I understand that learning another language can be difficult, especially in a classroom setting where students do not necessarily have the opportunity to interact with real Spanish as it's spoken by real people. Using my experience I will try to channel that real-world Spanish to the best of my ability since that is the most effective way to learn a new language.
