About Rue
I'm a recent graduate of the University of San Francisco. I majored in Biochemistry and minored in Theology & Religious Studies. My style of teaching involves breaking and relating complex materials into familiar and everyday concepts. I find it's easier to memorize information when you can relate the info to something you're familiar with.
As of now, I'm interning at a biotech company and working part-time at a middle school as a YMCA employee. As a YMCA program leader, I'm getting additional experience as a tutor and frequently work with students on assignments. I'm confident in my ability to teach and increase understanding. I look forward to meeting and working with everyone!

As a recent graduate, most of the information I learned is still intact. I also used to tutor with my University's academic services when I was a student.
During my freshman year, I struggled immensely with my courses. COVID gave me the opportunity and time to create a learning regimen that catapulted my grades and I'm now eager to share the knowledge.
