About Alia
I graduated this past May of 2024 with a Bachelors of Art in Psychology and Sociology.
I belive anyone is capable of learning as long as they have the right teacher. I like to ask a lot of questions during my sessions to make sure that students are understanding the content.
I have been a tutor in psychology for the past 3 years and while I teach the concepts of psychology, we often focus on different ways to study. We also, focus on ways to interpret readings and how to write in APA format.

I am proficient in teaching English as it is my first language. I have taken over5 courses related to English in my undergraduate years as well as taken AP English courses in college.
I am willing to teach in different styles as my students see fit. For the past 4 years I have worked at a summer enrichment camp in which I have taught ELA classes to K-12 students.
