As a first generation college graduate, I know the tribulations students may face in their academic careers. I want to use my experiences to not only help students succeed in courses, but to also build their self confidence, and guide them to their passions.

When learning content, I work with the Pomodoro technique as well as active recall. A typical lesson plan will include reviewing notes with timed breaks, creating practice questions, and relating the content to real world occurrences to ensure memorization and conceptual understanding. What sets me a part as a tutor is my experience with testing various learning methods. I am understanding that everyone learns in their own style and pace and I will work hard to ensure everyone's learning needs are met. additionally I have extensive experience working with students with special needs and learning disabilities. My lessons are designed for Middle-High School students (6th-12th grade.)
