About Rene
I am a recent college graduate with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a minor in computer science. I have a very strong understanding of both applied and pure mathematics (calculus, linear algebra, abstract algebra, real analysis, etc.) through my education. While at university, I worked for a laboratory researching the usefulness of virtual reality for educational purposes in STEM fields, where I performed geometric modeling of various shapes.

My teaching approach is relatively straightforward: I begin by introducing fundamental concepts and definitions of the topic at hand, and thoroughly dissect simple examples that illustrate these concepts. Once an understanding of the topic is established, we may move on to deeper, gradually more complex examples. I teach students of all ages and mathematical ability.
