About Maryn
I graduated from the University of Oxford in 2021, and have since started a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry at St Andrews. I love to tutor! I often struggled with concepts and was overwhelmed by the amount of content during my GCSEs and A Levels (and during my degree!), so I find it rewarding to help students get to grips with their subject material, and start enjoying studying a subject again.

I have experience tutoring students from the ages of seven to 18; I also spent two months in 2021 tutoring organic chemistry at a 3rd-year undergraduate level. I give one-on-one tutorials, tailored towards a student's particular exam board and to the areas with which they struggle. I generally prefer lessons of 45 minute length, depending upon the age and requirements of the student I'm working with.
