About Bella
I'm currently on a gap year, having studied English Literature, Religious Studies, and Psychology at A-Level. I have a place at Cambridge, starting in October 2026, to study Theology, Religion, and Philosophy of Religion. I have always really enjoyed school, and having a tutor for GCSEs and A-Level proved to help me achieve high grades, as well as helping me understand my subjects better which helped me enjoy them more; this is what I want to carry on by becoming a tutor myself. I have lots of hobbies outside tutoring like photography, Pilates, learning Italian, cooking, and reading!

Lessons are personalised to each student, focusing on the areas they need growth in, which are constantly reassessed as the student develops. The student can also, of course, personalise lessons themselves, letting me know their preferred style of learning and which areas they would like to focus on. Each lesson will last an hour. My tutoring style is effective and personal, with previous Common Entrance tutees improving their grades from B/Cs to As in the subjects I helped with. I have had experience tutoring individuals with ADHD for Common Entrance, and a tutee with anxiety triggered by exams, which has helped me develop a variety of teaching techniques and informed my wholly personalised approach to tutoring. My lessons are targeted towards those in years 10 and 11, who have started the GCSE curriculum for English Literature, and those in year 9 who study English but have not yet started the GCSE content.
